MTV has announced it has ordered Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life, a new all-access music docu-reality series that will follow singer Ke$ha during her intimate and wild moments in the studio, at home and on the road.
Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life will feature the popular artist as she "navigates the drama, madness and euphoria of her professional and personal life while recording a new album and traveling the globe," according to the network. The series, scheduled to premiere in April, will give viewers an inside look into Ke$ha's "real and raw" personality and multi-platinum recording career.
"You might have heard my voice on the radio, seen me onstage or in a music video, but that's only a part of the story," Ke$ha said in a statement. "With this documentary series I'm revealing a more complete picture of what my life is really like. It's not all glamorous but it's all real. I want you to come on a whirlwind journey with an all-access pass to My Crazy Beautiful Life."
The docu-reality series will chronicle two years of the artist's life shot by her filmmaker brother Lagan Sebert -- including her friendships, her ongoing rise to fame and how that created emotional and physical changes, and her search for love and a normal relationship.

"I was working as a journalist as my sister was fighting her way to the top of the charts," said Sebert, the show's executive producer.
"Journalists live and die by the story and I soon realized that the most amazing story was happening in my own family and it became my mission document it. With the help from Steven Greenstreet and Sandra Sampayo and Ted Roach I set off on a two year long journey to tell my sister's story."
Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life was filmed by Steven Greenstreet in addition to Sebert. The series is being produced by Magic Seed Productions, DiGa Vision and Vector Management with Lukasz Gottwald, Jack Rovner, Ken Levitan, Sebert, Tony DiSanto, and Liz Gateley serving as executive producers.
