MTV has announced its iconic franchise The Challenge will return with a twist next month as The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars, which will feature Bachelor alum Josh Murray among other reality TV stars and athletes.

The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars will feature 10 Challenge winners from seasons past going head-to-head against 10 celebrities in challenge-style competitions to hopefully win money for their respective charities.
In addition to Murray, the cast is also comprised of football star, current Dancing with the Stars contestant, and former The T.O. show star Terrell Owens; former Total Divas star Ariane Andrew; Wild 'N Out stars Justina Valentine, a rapper, and Matt Rife, a comedian; Olympic volleyball player Kim Glass; MMA athlete Michelle Waterson; rapper and former G's to Gents star Riff Raff; hip-hop artist Romeo Miller, formerly known as Little Romeo; and Olympic gold medalist and former DWTS winner Shawn Johnson.
During each episode of the series, the two teams will be pitted against each other in a competition, and the winning group will nominate its most valuable player (MVP), who will then receive money for his or her charity and be safe from elimination.
The MVP will also be able to choose the team's least valuable player (LVP), who will then go into the elimination round. Meanwhile, the losing team will nominate its own LVP to face the other nominee in the elimination challenge. Only one person will survive the competition and earn a right to stay.
WWE star and former competitor Mike "The Miz" Mizanin will serve as host for The Challenge series. The Miz got his start on MTV's The Real World: Back to New York.
"After 12 years, I can't tell you how excited I am to be back on The Challenge, this time as the host," Mizanin, who also starred on several seasons of The Challenge, said in a statement.
"I can honestly say that if it wasn't for this iconic show, I never would've had the confidence to fulfill my dream of becoming a WWE Superstar. The Challenge has evolved since my days of playing and now it's pitting the biggest celebrity athletes against the best The Challenge has to offer. It's must-see television at its finest!"
Murray, who also appeared on The Bachelorette and Famously Single, will be competing for a charity called Extra Special People, a non-profit that provides opportunities for individuals with disabilities and their families to engage, connect and thrive.
Johnson will be playing for Hope Sports, a non-profit organization that promotes personal growth and community among athletes through short-term service trips to Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.
Andrew will be competing to win money for Black Girls Rock, Valentine will be playing on behalf of Young Women's Leadership Network, and Glass will be playing for Covenant House.
Rife will be competing for World Wildlife Foundation, Waterson will be hoping to win money for MVP Vets and Players, Riff Raff will represent Nevada SPCA, Miller will be playing for Team Hope NOLA, and Owens will be competing on behalf of the charity called Ky Cares Foundation.
