Narkyia Lathan was 36 and from Camp Hill, PA, when she met Olulowo, a 28-year-old from Lagos, Nigeria, through an online dating service for overweight women.

Narkyia and her loved ones feared Olulowo was involved in some type of romance scam, but he did not ask for any money. They first met in February 2016.

The couple temporarily split but eventually reconciled, and now live together in the United States. Olulowo calls his wife his "queen."

In August 2020, Narkyia and Olulowo announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl.

"I can't help but say thank you Lord and in love all over again," Olulowo captioned an August 28 Instagram photo showing him cradling his newborn daughter.
