Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Dorell Wright have stated both of their partners will not be participating in VH1's new Basketball Wives docu-reality series that is currently being developed and scheduled to debut in March, The Miami Herald reported Monday.

While Haslem's girlfriend Faith Rain was originally announced as a cast member by VH1 earlier this month, Wright's girlfriend Mia was not -- however both want their significant others to have nothing to do with the new reality series.

"We changed our minds," Haslem told The Herald.

"It had nothing to do with me anyway. It was about her. With her being my partner, I support everything she does, just like she supports me. But it was just my standpoint that I don't like reality TV. I don't Twitter. I don't Facebook. I don't MySpace. I don't get involved in none of that stuff. I expressed that, and she decided not to do it."

Wright added there was "no way" Mia would do the show.

"There was no way we were going to be doing something like that," he told The Herald.

VH1 announced Basketball Wives' premiere last week, and the reality series would follow the wives, ex-wives and girlfriends of several NBA stars -- including Jennifer Williams (wife of Eric Williams), Evelyn Lozada (ex-fiance of Antoine Walker), Mesha O'Neal (wife of Jermaine O'Neal), Royce Reed, and Shaunie O'Neal (wife of Shaquille O'Neal).

Shaunie O'Neal is serving as the executive producer of the series.
