Variety reports that the NBA has signed a deal with two production companies to develop weekly one-hour "Who Wants to Be an NBA/WNBA Player?" series.

The producers, Reveille Entertainment and Original TV, would fly the final contestants to an NBA city for a series of skills and conditioning tests and three-on-three games. One male and one female will come out a winner. Victory would entitle the male winner to a tryout with an NBA team and the female winner with a WNBA team.
