"Love remains one of life's mysteries," said Schwartz, a tenured professor at the University of Washington. "Duet helped identify a potential match for Adam, taking into account his personality, life and lovestyle, values and preferences. This 'whole you' approach is the cornerstone in finding and creating a lasting relationship."
While NBC was quick to point out that Science of Love is "separate" from Age of Love -- a new The Bachelor-like reality dating series that will follow the 31-year-old professional tennis player Mark Philippoussis as he attempts to find a doubles partner among the group of suitors who range in age from 21- to 48-years-old -- the two certainly do have several similarities.
Both have kindred titles; are produced by 3 Ball Productions; feature athletes as the object of affection; are billed by the broadcast network as "a unique twist on the reality dating show format;" and are hosted by Mr. Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos. In addition, Science of Love will air immediately following the second episode of Age of Love on NBC.
