"From the beginning, ‘Dog Eat Dog’ has delivered a loyal audience and has out-performed the competition,” said Zucker. “We are pleased to see it become one of the breakout hits this summer and look forward to another run later this season.”
“Dog Eat Dog” is the top-rated new program this summer in total viewers (10.7 million) and is also NBC’s highest-rated show this summer among adults 18-49 (ranking third overall). In addition, the series’ most recent telecast on July 29 hit a series high among adults 18-49 (5.5 rating) - pushing it into a tie for the second-highest rated reality broadcast this summer. “Dog Eat Dog” is a solid time-period leader against regularly scheduled programs across eight of nine key adult demographics with a 36 percent advantage over second-place CBS in adults 18-49.
