The Hollywood Reporter's Cynthia Littleton reports that NBC's new reality series 'Dog Eat Dog,' got off to a good start in its Monday 9 p.m. time slot. 'Dog Eat Dog' averaged 10.1 million viewers and 4.5 rating/13 share in the adults 18-49 demographic from 9-10 p.m.

The stunt-driven game show grew from its lead-in of a 'Fear Factor' rerun (8 million, 3.2/11) and grew significantly in its second half-hour (from 9.6 million viewers and 4.1/12 share in 18-49 to 10.5 million viewers and 4.8/14 from 9:30-10 p.m.). CBS nonetheless won the night in total viewers (11.4 million) on the strength of its regular sitcom lineup
Overall, the 'Dog Eat Dog' premiere averaged 6.4/11 in the overnight ratings, gaining viewers in its second half.
