NBC will broadcast two new “Meet My Folks” episodes in August as three women compete for former “Meet My Folks” contestant Giancarlo Maniaci on Monday, August 18 (10-11 p.m. ET) -- while three men vie for a trip to Hawaii with beautiful San Francisco 49ers cheerleader Janelle Matulich on Monday, August 25 (10-11 p.m. ET).

Maniaci, the handsome vice president of a mortgage company, was so popular with viewers as a contestant on an earlier “Meet My Folks” episode that he was asked back to the dating reality series. But this time, three women are hoping to win a trip with him. As usual, before Giancarlo’s parents choose which girl is best for their son, each contestant’s character and intentions is put to the ultimate test through a series of revealing conversations, outrageous “secret tasks” and the notorious “lie-detector” test -- plus a dinner with Maniaci’s entire extended family.
In the episode airing August 25, the three men vying for Janelle Matulich get a crash course in cheerleading - and a big surprise -- from 14 of Janelle’s fellow cheerleaders.
“Meet My Folks” is produced by NBC Studios and Nash Entertainment. Bruce Nash (“For Love or Money,” “Mr. Personality”) - who created both “Meet My Folks” and “Who Wants to Marry My Dad?” - is executive producer of the series along with Scott Satin ("The Most Outrageous Game Show Moments," "Extreme Gong Show").
