NBC has ordered eight new episodes of Nash Entertainment’s “Meet My Folks,” the dating competition series that has generated some of the summer’s strongest averages for a reality show. The additional episodes will likely air as a midseason replacement series.

During it’s summer run, “Meet My Folks” has been undefeated in its time periods among adults 18-49 after seven telecasts to date, four on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET, two on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET and one on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET. The Monday edition of "Meet My Folks" is averaging a 5.2 rating, 15 share among adults 18-49 and 10.7 million viewers overall, which translates to this summer's No. 2 rating among adults 18-49 and a top-10 ranking in total viewers.
