Prospective applicants should: be able to take risks, bounce back after failing, succeed in a cutthroat environment, go against the tide, remain focused, think creatively and be a leader. Contestants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and live in the United States; must be at least 21 years of age; must be in excellent physical and mental health; must not now be a candidate for public office and must agree not to become one until six months after initial broadcast of all programs in which you appear, if selected as a player.
Once selected -- and after being divided into two teams -- candidates on each week’s team who did not successfully complete the job assignment, will meet face-to-face with Trump after each round of competition as they endure a grueling interview session with Trump and some of his key executives. Each week Trump will “fire” one candidate.
In the season’s final episode, one promising and ambitious person will emerge supreme and will be awarded a prestigious, year-long dream assignment -- and a six-figure salary -- that accompanies the status of becoming “the apprentice.”
