NeNe disclosed last month she was canceling her upcoming comedy shows due to Gregg's hospitalization, which lasted more than two weeks.
"First of all, I just want to say that I feel very blessed and extremely lucky to be able to do what I do. I'm so grateful that you guys purchased tickets to see me everywhere," the reality TV star said in an Instagram video she posted on May 22.
"I have to cancel my Albany, New York, show and my New York City Caroline's show. Today marks the 15th day straight that Gregg has been in the hospital."
NeNe explained to her fans at the time she found it "very difficult" to stand onstage, "laugh and have a good time" when her husband was "not feeling well." She also wanted to give the audience their money's worth.
"He has said to me over and over again, 'Go on, go out there, have a good time, do the show, I'm going to be fine.' But I find it mentally very hard for me to do that," NeNe continued.
"Gregg will be out of the hospital this week. He will be stronger, he will be better and we will be out here doing this show again in no time. Thank you for loving me! Thank you so much."
The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired a November 2017 episode documenting Gregg's health crisis, according to Us Weekly, when he was taken to the hospital for a "dangerously low" heart rate.
NeNe and Gregg got married in 1997 but separated in 2010, and their divorce was finalized in 2011. However, the couple later rekindled their romance and remarried in June 2013.
NeNe and Gregg's second wedding was filmed for her 2013 Bravo spinoff, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding. The couple have a 19-year-old son named Brentt together, and NeNe also has a 28-year-old son Bryson from a previous relationship.
In addition to her Bravo shows, NeNe also previously competed on The Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars.
