If, as some critics charge, the "Fab Five" are being overexposed, then someone forgot to tell the viewing public, because the effects aren't being felt in their program's ratings. At least not yet.

This week's November 18 episode of Bravo's breakout hit Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, the series' first original episode in eight weeks and the beginning of a seven week run during which the program's remaining original first season episodes will be broadcast, generated more historic numbers for Bravo, scoring the day's No. 1 cable results among the Adults 25-54 and 18-49 demographics and making Bravo cable's No. 1 ad-supported network in prime time in both these key categories.

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy grabbed the third-largest Adults 25-54 audience in Bravo history, as well as its fourth-biggest Adults 18-49 audience and fourth-largest overall audience.

Among Adults 25-54, the new "Queer Eye" episode attracted 2.2 million viewers, up 18 percent over the show's average with first-run episodes over the summer (1.9 million) and up a whopping 173 percent over what Bravo has been averaging in the fourth quarter to date with Queer Eye encore telecasts (815,000). It's the biggest Adults 25-54 audience for Queer Eye since the hit makeover series set all-time Bravo records on September 2.

Among Adults 18-49, the Queer Eye episode amassed 2.1 million viewers, up 11 percent versus last summer's first-run average (1.9 million from July 15-Sept 23). In total viewers, the episode reached an average of 2.8 million persons, making it the No. 1 ad-supported cable program in that time period.

The November 18 telecast of "Queer Eye" featured a very wooly Jeff T. – a postal worker by day, taxidermist by night – and his triumphant return to the clean-shaven, part-time model his wife fell in love with 24 years before, thanks to the personal-improvement styling of the Fab Five.
