The cast and creator of the canceled supernatural western series, Wynonna Earp, have confirmed they are reuniting for a movie to stream on Tubi.
Paolo Barzman is to direct the 90-minute scripted special, Wynonna Earp: Vengeance, which is set to premiere in late 2024, according to the magazine.
"Doc and Wynonna have been on an adventure, and Waverly and Nicole have been at home in [the Earp hometown of] Purgatory, doing their thing," Andras said.
"I think it's going to be really interesting to see, hopefully, what gets everybody home -- maybe facing a challenge they've never faced before, something pretty intense. It's all your favorite -- hopefully -- character moments, but also a little bit about growing up and sort of, like, being who you are now and earning all your choices."
The comic-book adaptation featuring Scrofano as the titular, demon-hunting, great-great-granddaughter of legendary lawman Wyatt Earp initially ran on Syfy in the United States for four seasons from 2016 to 2021.Reruns are streaming on Netflix.
Scrofano told reporters in a 2021 round-table interview that she hoped the show would be remembered as a TV show that inspired people to be authentically themselves and accepting of others.
