Sixth-season challenges will include catering a star-studded MGD 64 after-party with Grammy-winner Colbie Caillat, serving up dishes inspired by classic carnival sweets at the Santa Monica Pier, creating and operating lunch trucks on Venice Beach, using cereal to cook dinner with breakfast, and impressing special guest stars Eva Longoria-Parker and Todd English by illustrating an "emotion" through a dish at their Beso restaurant.
In addition to Caillat, Longoria-Parker and English, Food Network personalities Wolfgang Puck, Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Rachael Ray, Alton Brown, Duff Goldman, Ted Allen, and Melissa d'Arabian will also serve as guest stars during the season.
Iron Chef America star Bobby Flay and network executives Bob Tuschman and Susie Fogelson will reprise their roles on the show's judging panel and ultimately determine the grand-prize winner -- who will receive his or her own six-episode Food Network series.
The Next Food Network Star's sixth-season finale will air Sunday, August 15 at 9PM ET/PT and the winner's new series will debut later that month.
Food Network renewed The Next Food Network Star, it's most-watched series, last June.
