Back to the Northeast. Having filmed the last four editions of The Real World in the Midwest (Chicago), Sin City (Las Vegas), Europe (Paris), and the West Coast (San Diego), Real World producers Bunim-Murray Productions have apparently decided to return to the Northeast (for the first time since 2001's Back To New York) for the fifteenth installment of the MTV hit reality franchise.

For those looking to be cast on the show, apparently you still have plenty of time, as according to a recent Summit Daily News report, casting directors have gotten a late start on the casting of the next season of the show (perhaps due to the San Diego house rape incident that is believed to have thrown the future of the series into jeopardy) and are still organizing open casting calls.
Sasha Alpert, vice president of casting for Bunim/Murray Productions told the Daily News that the late casting search, which is beginning after the typical beginning of the spring college semester, is forcing the producers to be more resourceful in where they conduct their searches for the available 18-24 year-old college students that the program craves.
Among the places they feel they might have luck -- Colorado's "slacker-friendly" ski resort communities. "I'd heard there are a lot of people who take time off from school there," Alpert told the Daily News. "And there's actually a place to live there, with people their age around, so it seemed like a good place to come."
The Breckenridge, Colorado casting call will occur Wednesday, January 21 from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Salt Creek Restaurant and Saloon located at 110 E. Lincoln Ave.
