Nick Hogan will reportedly receive an 18th birthday present from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The Hogan Knows Best co-star -- who is in the midst of an eight-month jail sentence on reckless driving charges -- will be transferred on July 27 out of the space he's currently sharing with fellow juvenile offenders and into the prison's general population, E! News reported Wednesday.
"On Sunday, his 18th birthday, he is scheduled to be transferred to a direct supervision dorm-type housing unit with up to 71 other sentenced adult male inmates," Pinellas County Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Jim Borden told E! News. "It is my understanding that he will continue to work as a trustee in the Inmate Property Section of the jail."
Hogan -- the son of wrestler Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea -- was 17-years-old when he lost control of his father's 1998 Toyota Supra last August and hit a raised median, spinning the vehicle and causing its rear end to strike a palm tree.
"Nicholas Bollea is [currently] a juvenile who has been court ordered to serve a sentence as an inmate in the Pinellas County Jail," Borden told E! News. "The jail is an adult facility that has a daily population of around 3,300 inmates. Because he is currently a juvenile, he has been housed with other juveniles who have been similarly sentenced."

Last month, Hogan requested to be released from solitary confinement to instead serve the remainder of his sentence in minimum security or on house arrest. A judge denied the request before subsequently moving Hogan from solitary confinement into a cell with three other juveniles
Hogan's front-seat passenger in the August crash -- former U.S. Marine John Graziano -- spent several weeks in critical condition in a medically-induced coma and is expected to require lifelong care.
Following a more than two month investigation by police, Hogan was arrested on charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury; using a motor vehicle in commission of a felony; being a driver under 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of 0.02% or higher; and having illegal window tinting.
He was sentenced in May to eight months in jail after he pleaded no contest to reckless driving. He also received five years of probation and surrendered his driving privileges for three years.
