Nick Viall and Ashley Iaconetti aren't exactly impressed with Becca Kufrin's The Bachelorette frontrunner, Garrett Yrigoyen, and they're putting him on blast.

Nick and Ashley made an appearance on Access' "The Morning After" show following this week's episode of The Bachelorette, and the pair of friends didn't hold back when it became time to express their thoughts and opinions on Garrett.

"I'm sure he's a nice guy, but seemingly every time his ex-relationship comes up," Nick began.

"He fires up," interjected Ashley, a four-time contestant on The Bachelor franchise.

After letting out a laugh, Nick continued, "He completely throws her under the bus."

Garrett was previously married to Kayla Cunningham, whom he dated for a year and a half before proposing to her in 2014. The pair then exchanged vows on September 19, 2015.

Garrett told Becca on the show he had divorced Kayla only two months after tying the knot because she was "emotionally abusive" and had attempted to drive a wedge between himself and his loved ones.

Garrett called their relationship a "rollercoaster ride."

"There has never been a comment out of Garrett's mouth that's like, 'Listen, there's two in every relationship. I played my part. Certainly there were problems, but, like, we just weren't a good match.' It's always like -- he's 100 all the time -- and like, 'She's terrible. She yelled at me, she abused me,'" Nick said in a comedic manner.

"And this might all be true! I mean, listen, I've been in some bad relationships before, but just to publicly go out there and be like, 'Yeah, no, it's her fault, 100 percent her fault, my family hated her...'"

Nick, who starred on The Bachelor's 22nd season after a stint on Bachelor in Paradise and competing on two different The Bachelorette editions, then changed the subject and said, "Can you imagine Garrett's ex watching this whole season being like, 'But! Ugh?! Wait a minute!'"

"He's almost forcing her [to share her story with a tabloid]," Nick continued in his Access interview, with Ashley quietly listening at his side.

"Because I do disagree with the way -- and again, there could be some editing. Maybe he said some [other] things, I don't know. Maybe at some point he said it and it wasn't aired, but it's such a consistent thing every time it comes up. He is absolutely throwing her under the bus."

Ashley then agreed, "His tone is what says he's not saying nice things."

Although Garrett's first marriage has been a storyline on The Bachelorette this season, Nick believes the 29-year-old medical sales representative from Reno, NV, could have taken a higher road and been a bit more humble.

"The storyline was that he was married, not that he was somehow victimized by his ex-wife. And I don't know! To me it's kind of like, 'Wow, way to own it!'" Nick said.

Ashley then spoke up about Garrett's ex-wife and asked, "What's your theory on what happened during their two months of marriage? Because I was so flabbergasted how they went three years fine -- went to the altar -- and then in two months, boom."

"Look, I don't doubt it's totally possible that she sucks," Nick quipped.

"And they got married at what? [Age] 23 or 24? That's young, especially nowadays. It's not entirely crazy to assume she wasn't the person he thought she was."

"But the point is not whether she was terrible or not," he elaborated. "It's like anything. Like even if you had a bad job, you don't talk badly about your ex employer. There's something to be said."

Nick went on to compare the situation to a car accident.

"Even if you get rear-ended, it's 10 percent your fault just for being there. And there's no accountability on Garrett's part or owning anything. If I was Becca I would be like, 'Okay, fine, but what could you have done differently?'" Nick reasoned.

"You know? Like, 'Fine your ex sucks, but what's one thing you would have changed in that relationship? Other than just deciding to marry her.' I would want to know that. It's just a constant thing he does."

In addition to Garrett, Becca still has Blake Horstmann, Colton Underwood and Jason Tartick in the running for her heart.

Becca will visit each man's hometown in next week's episode of The Bachelorette and then narrow the field to only three bachelors.
