Nick Viall has been named the next star of The Bachelor.

The ABC dating-competition series will return for its 21st season in January.
Viall was the runner-up on both Kaitlyn Bristowe's and Andi Dorfman's seasons of "The Bachelorette," as well as a participant on the third season of "Bachelor in Paradise."
"The Bachelor Season 21 means new beginnings for Nick," the show's website said. "This time he'll be the one handing out the roses -- and, hopefully, finally find his happy ending."
