Nick Viall and Jennifer Saviano allegedly dated after Bachelor in Paradise wrapped filming but he dumped her in order to star as the next Bachelor.

Himle, who prides herself on being "a little bit more honest" than most cast members in the franchise, told Detroit's 97.1 The Ticket radio station that Viall recently hurt Saviano once producers presented him with The Bachelor opportunity.
While admitting Viall is attractive, Himle went on to say, "I am not a big fan of him. He dated my great friend Jen on Bachelor in Paradise and they did break up on the show, but it was my understanding that they were still seeing each other after the show completed."
Viall and Saviano were allegedly "still together in a relationship" when he was offered the Bachelor role, but Himle didn't clarify whether Viall necessarily dumped Saviano.
"So Jen is one of the smartest people I know, and she picks up on the bull [sh-t]. Her and I are both pretty good at picking up on guys' game," Himle told the radio station, seemingly suggesting Saviano may have ended the relationship before Viall had the chance to.
"She knew that he was kind of manipulating her towards the end."
Viall was officially announced as The Bachelor star exactly one week ago. The news came as a shock to everyone. Even the frontrunner for the position, Luke Pell, told Us Weekly that the show's production crew didn't anticipate Viall landing the leading role.
"[The breakup] just happened, they were solid a week ago. It's fresh," Himle revealed of Viall and Saviano, who are still dating on Bachelor in Paradise 3 as the show heads into its Tuesday-night finale on ABC.
Saviano allegedly texted Himle on the day of her radio interview, asking her to spill details later on about how she "handled" questions about Viall.
"I think he is going to have a hard time finding someone better than Jen," Himle said. "[My opinion] is a little biased since she is one of my great friends, but he lucked out with her and I think he messed up."
Himle also insisted that Saviano would never take Viall back if he begged for a second chance.
"It's too late!" said Himle, who just got eliminated from Bachelor in Paradise on Monday night's episode, which also featured Viall and Saviano enjoying a Fantasy Suite date together. "She's way better than him anyways."
