Nicole Scherzinger was reportedly inconsolable following Rachel Crow's surprise elimination on Thursday night's The X Factor results show.

The X Factor judge "bolted right for her dressing room" and cried "hysterically" for nearly a half-hour after live results show broadcast ended with the ouster of Crow, a 13-year-old from Longmont, CO, TMZ reported Friday.
Crow was eliminated after Scherzinger voted to eliminate Crow over fellow bottom two vote-getter Marcus Canty -- deliberately forcing a 2-2 judging deadlock that resulted in the results show elimination being decided based on home viewer votes cast following Wednesday night's Top 5 performance show rather than the decision of Scherzinger and fellow judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and L.A. Reid.
"I can't make this decision. Please, I can't make this decision, because I've been up there and I know how it feels and I love and adore both of you. I have to go with a deadlock, please," Scherzinger said during Thursday night's show.
"So, what are you saying? You want to send home Rachel Crow -- that will go to deadlock and America will decide?" The X Factor host Steve Jones asked the judge. "You have to say it Nicole."

"I don't want to have to say that. I'm gonna, I don't want to -- I'm just gonna have to -- yeah. I don't want to send you home, Rachel. I just don't want to -- so I'm just going to -- the act that I have to send home is Rachel," a flustered Scherzinger confirmed.
Upon the announcement of Crow's ouster from the competition, Crow fell to her knees and completely broke down in tears and sobs. Cowell and her mother immediately ran up on the stage in attempt to console her.
"Mommy!" Crow cried.
"Look at me, it's okay. It's okay," her mother said.
"You promised me!" Crow said.

"I promise it's okay," her mother assured.
"You promised," Crow sobbed.
Scherzinger also broke down sobbing, seemingly having expected the viewer vote to have resulted in the elimination of Canty, who had finished as one of the competition's bottom two vote-getters for the third straight week.
She was then also booed loudly by the studio audience when Jones asked her to comment on Crow's sudden elimination, resulting in additional tears.
According to TMZ, Scherzinger's emotional meltdown finally ended when she was visited by Crow, who told the judge she didn't hold Scherzinger responsible for her The X Factor elimination.

Crow confirmed Scherzinger's post-show struggles during an interview with Reality TV World on Friday, however according to the 13-year-old, the judge's breakdown actually lasted much longer than TMZ reported.
"No, Nicole did not cry for 30 minutes. She cried for an hour-and-a-half. She was devastated and I love her and she's got the biggest heart. She's just beautiful on the inside and out, and I will hopefully always have a special place in her heart and she will always have a special place in mine," she told Reality TV World.
