"I'm going to throw up. Okay, you guys, I love you so much, and don't hate me for my decision, but I have to do what's best for me at the moment, and I am retiring from Jersey Shore," Nicole revealed.
"I am not coming back to [Jersey Shore: Family Vacation] for a Season 4, if there is one. And there's a lot of reasons why, but the main reason is really -- I'm just like, I just can't do it anymore."
Nicole said the main reason behind her decision is that leaving her kids to film every season is "really, really hard" on her. Nicole and her husband Jionni LaValle are parents to Lorenzo, 7, Giovanna, 5, and Angelo, 6 months.
"I try to quit every single day. The poor producers are, like, 'Dude, are you going to quit this time?' I quit every single time we film because I just hate being away from the kids," Nicole admitted.
Although Nicole insisted leaving the show once and for all was "a hard decision" to make, the environment apparently just isn't suited for the mature woman she has become.
"I don't like partying, like, three days in a row. It's just not my life anymore. And I want to be home with the kids. You know, like, I don't mind a here or there going to a dinner or whatever, but it's just really hard on me to leave the kids and film the show," Nicole explained on her podcast.
Nicole went on to disclose, "Another reason is that when I leave my kids and I film the show, I want to have a good time and I'm putting myself out there, and I just want to come off as a good person. And lately on the show, there's just been very drama."

Nicole and her best friend Jenni "JWoww" Farley, for example, got into a huge showdown with fellow cast member Angelina Pivarnick in an October episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation's third season, according to Us Weekly.
"Our show, Jersey Shore, is about family, and about making fun of each other, and having a good time and laughing and just knowing that it's all in good fun," Nicole said.

"And lately, it's just like everything is so serious. And when it comes to our show, it's not about, like, 'Oh, team this, team that,' and then, you know, fans are against one another when it comes to a cast member. It's just not how the show works, and that's how it's becoming."
Nicole said she simply doesn't want to be a part of that.
"I'm not leaving my kids [for] days on end when that's the result of it. I just don't like the turnout of it, and I don't like the person I'm being portrayed as," Nicole elaborated.
"It's getting to be a little too much, and for me, at 32 years old with three kids, if I'm doing a reality show, I want it to be fun and I want it to be lighthearted. And just lately, it's not like that and the show is getting so dramatic."
Nicole said she wishes Jersey Shore: Family Vacation could focus on close friendships and great times instead of confrontation and "cattiness."

"I just can't be a part of something like that, especially when I'm leaving my kids and I'm hurting to film the show... I just need to do what's best for me, and right now, I'm not comfortable filming that show anymore with the direction it's going," Nicole said.
Nicole also revealed she and her children have received death threats over her actions on the show because people are "taking [a reality show] too seriously."

"I'm just not about it anymore, and it's not cool. So I need to exit myself from the situation. I don't like the narrative of anything... [but] I love my roomies to death. They knot that. I'm not going anywhere when it comes to them and them being my family."
Nicole's friends on the series include Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio.
Despite her choice to leave Jersey Shore, Nicole insisted she's not saying goodbye to reality TV forever and has "no hard feelings" toward MTV and the show's production team.
"I hope everyone understands my decision," Nicole noted. "I'm not quitting -- I'm just retiring from Jersey Shore because it's gotten to be too much."

Nicole wishes the best for her co-stars and hopes they'll have a good time on Season 4 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which is reportedly returning to MTV in 2020.
Prior to starring on three seasons of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Nicole also starred on four seasons of Snooki & JWoww as well as six seasons of MTV's original Jersey Shore series, which premiered back in 2009.
