Nikki Bella insists she's "just friends" with her former Dancing with the Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev, although they definitely have a history.

The Total Divas and Total Bellas star did, however, date Artem before, and Nikki admitted she and Artem "have so much chemistry and a cool connection."
News broke in early January Nikki and Artem had been dating "for a while" but their romance seemed casual.
In fact, one of the former couple's dates was featured on an episode of Total Bellas several weeks later, according to Us.
"You look good," Artem reportedly told the pro wrestler in a flirtatious manner on the January 27 episode. "A lot's happened since I've seen you last, which has been a long time."
Whether or not Artem turns out to be the right man for Nikki, she told the magazine it's all about the "connection" for her.
"Because I've been set up on blind dates -- that doesn't work out," she shared.
Nikki and Artem competed on Season 25 of Dancing with the Stars together in Fall 2017. They were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars during a double elimination on Season 25's Halloween-themed broadcast.
Nikki had previously been engaged to actor and pro wrestler John Cena, but they called off their engagement in April 2018 after dating for six years.

"While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another," the pair said in a statement at the time. "We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."

The fourth season of Total Bellas premiered on January 13.
Total Divas has been renewed for a ninth season and it's expected to premiere later this year, according to Deadline.
