Nina Garcia has welcomed her second son into the world.

Garcia said she and her family -- which includes husband David Conrod and three-year-old son Lucas Conrad, who was born in March 2007 -- couldn't be happier about the new baby's birth in New York City this weekend.
"Baby is doing great & Lucas is thrilled!" the 45-year-old added.
According to People, Garcia told Lucas the news of her pregnancy well in advance, which had left him anticipating his new little brother's arrival.
"We told him, and he's very happy to be a big brother. He's waiting for the baby to come more than we are," Garcia told People in July after she announced her pregnancy.
"He's excited and he gets it."
In addition to her role on Project Runway, Garcia is the fashion director at Marie Claire magazine and the author of several style books.
