The man who won the first "Top Chef" competition has married an Atlanta woman he met as a result of the show, People magazine says.

The pair met at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colo., which was part of the prize package from his "Top Chef" win, the magazine said Saturday.
"Top Chef," produced by the Bravo television network, pits top chefs against each other. A panel of celebrity chefs -- such as Tom Colicchio -- then judges the food productions.
Colicchio was unable to attend the ceremony, but Dieterle spoke to him about the wedding.
"He just wished me good luck and had some advice," Dieterle told the magazine.The couple traveled to Italy for their honeymoon.
