Parvati Shallow and John Fincher never played Survivor together or had an on-camera romance, but their ties to the franchise led to a romance that developed outside of the show.
John, competed on the franchise's 19th season, Survivor: Samoa, while Parvati competed on Survivor: Cook Islands, Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites,Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, and Survivor: Winners at War.
John proposed marriage to the Survivor: Micronesia winner in January 2017 after they had dated for over three years, and the couple got married in July 2017.
In February 2018, they announced they were expecting their first child together, and Parvati gave birth to a baby girl in July 2018.
However, in August 2021 Parvati filed divorce.
Parvati reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from John.
