Pascal is a 69-year-old salon owner from Paris, France, who currently resides in Chicago, IL.

Pascal was "speechless" when he first met Joan because he thought she was very "attractive" and "elegant."

And Joan seemed to like Pascal right away. She thought he was "very charming" and that his accent was "very sexy."


Joan noted, "I've been wooed tonight by a Frenchman. Maybe there's some amour in our future."

Joan and Pascal explored their relationship on a deeper level when they had a one-on-one date, and Pascal opened up about his childhood.

Joan was able to see more layers of the bachelor than just his designer clothes.

Joan called Pascal "a solid human being," and she was happy to see a softer and more humble side of the bachelor during their solo date.

Pascal, who grew up in Paris, France, is looking for his soul mate, and, given he's French, he believes being romantic is in his blood.

Pascal is hoping to meet a woman who is passionate, full of life, and intelligent.

While he's not the best cook, he jokes about how he "makes great reservations!"

Pascal didn't have it easy growing up and his family struggled

"I had a very tough childhood where money was always an issue," Pascal revealed.

"We were living in an apartment where there were six in a room, two in each bed. We had no bathroom and no shower."

Pascal was also resentful of his parents, who allegedly never hugged him or told him, "I love you."

"They'd say, 'Go play in the street,'" Pascal recalled.

Pascal's upbringing motivated him in the United States

At a young age, Pascal had the opportunity to move to the United States, and he apparently took the trip with a big hole in his shoe.

Pascal said his father put a piece of cardboard in the shoe to make it last.

"I said, 'I am going to be successful and make something of myself,'" Pascal shared.

"When I came to the U.S., I didn't speak a word of English... but I would look in the mirror and say, 'You've got this! Be positive!'"

Pascal says his family is his pride and joy

The Golden Bachelorette bachelor is a very proud father and grandfather.


Pascal has a daughter Sara who will be attending Loyola University in Chicago and a son Max who works as a DJ in Chicago.

Pascal also has a grandson whom he loves taking to the aquarium.

Pascal is the proud owner of Pascal pour Elle hair salon

When Pascal turned 21, he accepted a job in Chicago and planned to stay for three months. Five years later, after building a large network of clients, he decided to open his own salon.

Pascal has now owned and operated a full-service luxury beauty and hair salon in Chicago for over three decades.

The salon specializes in hairstyling, hair coloring, hair extensions, skin care, smoothing treatments and more.

The Golden Bachelorette bachelor created his own line of products

After 10 years of development, Pascal revealed in May that he was launching "the best styling products around" in a new line called Pascal Paris.


Pascal says the hair products in his salon are superior to others on the market.

Pascal was recently photographed standing on the border of Kenya and Tanzania, showing that he enjoys traveling.

Pascal also isn't afraid to take risks. He took a hot air balloon ride in Africa and also embarked on a safari.

Pascal says he lives a life of luxury

Pascal says he worked hard to be successful in life and now he drives a fancy car and lives in "a beautiful home" that he'd love to share with Mrs. Right one day.

Pascal wants to spontaneously whisk his partner away to Paris and share the finer things in life with her.


The bachelor also has a closet full of designer labels, including Gucci clothes.

Pascal's interests expand beyond fashion and beauty

While Pascal admits he'd love to be a fashion designer in another life, he also enjoys taking his son to the aquarium and playing tennis.

In addition, Pascal loves going to the theater, trying new restaurants and attending concerts in his free time.

Gregg Lassen reveals what he really thinks of Pascal

Gregg, who got eliminated on The Golden Bachelorette's October 2 episode, spent many nights getting to know Pascal, one of his roommates, in the mansion.

While Pascal was certainly a character with his high-maintenance personality, Gregg told Entertainment Weekly, "I love him like a brother."

Gregg explained, "The background to that story is that we [went] into the mansion and we found out we were roommates, and I liked him instantaneously... We would stay up late at night and talk."


Gregg called Pascal "such an interesting person" whom he's "so close to" now.

And Gregg added, "I'm a globalist, so I've spent a lot of time in France."

Pascal even invited Gregg to join him in Chicago for a fun trip after filming ended, and Gregg noted, "I'm going to take him up on that."
