Joan and Pascal explored their relationship on a deeper level when they had a one-on-one date, and Pascal opened up about his childhood and his strained relationship with his parents.
Joan was able to see more layers of the bachelor than just his designer clothes.
Joan called Pascal "a solid human being," and she was happy to see a softer and more humble side of the bachelor.
And during Pascal's hometown date, Joan was able to meet Pascal's children, and they gushed about how much they loved and adored their father -- and how they wanted to see him happy, potentially with Joan.
But Joan left the hometown date feeling a little uneasy. She wasn't sure if Pascal was truly ready for a commitment and if they were on the same page in their relationship.
