The U.S. pathologist who performed a second autopsy on Anna Nicole Smith's son said findings indicate the son was taking an anti-depressant but not suicidal.
The pathologist said toxicology tests should provide some answers as to why Daniel Smith died, the newspaper said. Foul play isn't suspected. The New York Daily News said Daniel Smith had lost weight and been hospitalized with stomach pains and a fast heartbeat last month, but it wasn't clear whether the symptoms were related to his medication.
Daniel Smith died while visiting his mother in the hospital, where she had given birth to his sister, Hannah Rose. The three had posed for photos, the News said.
Tissue, organ and toxicology samples were sent to U.S. labs for tests. A coroner's inquest is scheduled for Saturday in Nassau, Bahamas.
