Patrick Cornett was a 26-year-old deejay and single dad who was based in Miami, FL, when he met and fell in love with Myriam Manhattan, a 22-year-old from Paris, France, on social media.
Patrick flew to Paris to meet Myriam face to face despite a couple of concerns -- their different religions given Myriam is a practicing Muslim and he's a Christian as well as how she might feel about his young daughter from a previous relationship.
Patrick was disappointed to find out in Paris Myriam had a boyfriend all along -- which infuriated Patrick's mother -- but he fought for her in the hope Myriam's relationship wasn't serious and she'd leave the other guy.
Patrick, however, eventually returned to the United States without ever becoming more than friends with Myriam.
On Season 2 of the online digital series 90 Day Fiance: What Now?, Myriam flew to America to see Patrick in his hometown of Louisville, KY, where she patched things up with his mom and met his friends.
In May 2020, Patrick and Myriam appeared on 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined, which gave viewers a glimpse into the lives of former 90 Day Fiance franchise stars as they quarantined themselves at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
During their 90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined segment, Patrick explained he was currently working as a deejay in Las Vegas and had not spoken to Myriam in two years.
Myriam revealed she's currently single and living with her family in Paris, and Patrick admitted that opened up "a whole variety of ideas" in his head.
"Now that Myriam is single, we might have some Zoom dates alone, and I'm excited for that," Patrick told the cameras.
And Patrick said once quarantine was over, he was going to fly Myriam to Las Vegas.
"I believe we can make something work now," Patrick said, adding that he'll always have feelings for Myriam.
