Paula Abdul is suing the Los Angeles tanning salon UVASUN for burns she says she suffered in 2012, documents show.

The former "American Idol" judge said she left the salon with burns all over her body and an "especially severe second or third degree burn on a portion of [her] left thigh," TMZ reported Thursday.
Abdul is suing for unspecified damages, the celebrity news website said.
