The Voice, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Fifth Harmony and Jennifer Lopez all received at least one award at the 43rd annual People's Choice Awards, which took place in Los Angeles, on January 18.

NBC's reality singing competition The Voice won Favorite Competition TV Show, former The X Factor finalist Fifth Harmony won Favorite Group, American Idol's fourth-season winner Underwood won Favorite Female Country Artist, upcoming World of Dance and former American Idol judge Lopez earned Favorite TV Crime Drama Actress, and The Voice coach Shelton earned two huge honors this year -- Favorite Male Country Artist as well as Favorite Album.

Shelton became the first country artist to win in the best album category for his 2016 record and tenth studio album If I'm Honest, which features a duet with his girlfriend and fellow The Voice star Gwen Stefani called "Go Ahead and Break My Heart."

"Wow! I love you too! Two People's Choice Awards, that's pretty cool. 'Got a lot of people to thank. All of the people who voted for me, thank you so much. Thank you to Warner Nashville and my management," Shelton said in his acceptance speech for the two awards before giving Stefani a cute shout-out.

"And thanks to the hottest date here tonight, Gwen Stefani, whose sitting right there!'"

The crowd cheered loudly as Stefani blushed and giggled at all the attention.

Shelton then continued, "I do want to say, I think it's interesting. I look at that category, of Album of the Year, and I know that somewhere out there, there's somebody going, 'I mean, how did he win Album of the Year? Like, isn't that just a country album full of stereotypical drinking, and cheating, and tailgates?' And to that person I say, 'You're damn right it is!' Thank you!"

Shelton defeated former American Idol judge Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Tim McGraw for Favorite Male Country Artist. For Favorite Album, Shelton beat out Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and Drake.

Justin Timberlake, however, won the overall category of Favorite Male Artist, which Shelton had also been nominated for.

In the Favorite Group category, Fifth Harmony's competition was The Chainsmokers, Coldplay, Panic! at the Disco, and Twenty One Pilots.

Underwood defeated the following nominees for Favorite Female Country Artist: Dolly Parton, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire.

Lopez defeated Lucy Liu, Mariska Hargitay, Pauley Perrette and Sophia Bush for the honor of Favorite TV Crime and Drama Actress.

In addition, Niall Horan, who recently pursued a solo career after being a part of The X Factor UK's One Direction boy band for years, won Favorite Breakout Artist. He beat out his fellow former bandmate, Zayn, for the honor. Zayn also lost out on the Favorite Song award for his hit "Pillowtalk."
