Peta made her Dancing with the Stars debut as a pro partner on the series' 13th season and was the first pairing voted out, however, she went on to win Season 14 with celebrity partner Donald Driver. She also won Season 22 with Nyle DiMarco.
For this season, Peta is partnered with TV personality and 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey. Nick may not be the best dancer on the show, but he's working really hard.
They also have a unique show dynamic considering Nick's wife Vanessa Lachey is paired with Peta's husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy. And both couples are still in the running!

- The 5'7" dancer was born on July 14, 1986 in Auckland, New Zealand, and her family moved to Australia when she was 18-months-old.
- Peta started studying classical ballet at age 4 and trained for 12 years under former principal dancer of the Kirov Ballet, Madame Lubov Nikonorenko.
However, an ankle injury at 16-years-old forced Peta to give up on ballet, so she picked up Latin dancing.
- She is best friends with fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Sharna Burgess.
- In 2014, Peta began performing in Sway: A Dance Trilogy in Westbury, NY, which is a live ballroom dance show starring Maksim, his younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy, and their DWTS friend Tony Dovolani.
- Peta is married to Maksim, and the couple just welcomed their first child together, son Shai Aleksander, on January 4, 2017.
Before getting romantically involved with Maksim, she dated Australian dancer and former DWTS cast member Damian Whitewood for five years before breaking up in early 2012.
