Peter Weber says he was truly surprised when The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown showed up on his The Bachelor season and seeing her again definitely brought back old feelings.

"I truly was not expecting that."

Peter finished in third place on Hannah's The Bachelorette season behind runner-up Tyler Cameron and winner Jed Wyatt.
Hannah got engaged to Jed on Season 15 of The Bachelorette, but she broke up with him five weeks after accepting his marriage proposal because he had lied about the extent of his dating history prior to competing on the show for her heart.
"Even though it didn't work out with us on The Bachelorette, that relationship still meant a lot to us," the 28-year-old commercial pilot told the magazine.
"You are going to see just how much it meant to us when you watch the episode. All of the emotions resurfaced."
ABC released a The Bachelor promo late last year that showed Hannah and Peter flirting and getting touchy-feely while sitting side-by-side on a sofa in a quiet room while filming his season.
Peter appeared to nearly kiss Hannah and invite her to become one of his Season 24 bachelorettes during their conversation.
The Bachelor host Chris Harrison recently told Entertainment Tonight that Hannah's appearance on Peter's season was "a thing" and "not just a, 'Hey I'm here to hit you on the shoulder and say good luck,'" type of moment.

"It's more than that," Chris recently insisted of the pair's televised reunion.

Peter told People of the meeting, "They're just real emotions that come out between two people that at one point cared about each other a lot."
Hannah made it clear the pair had a very strong connection by revealing on the live portion of The Bachelorette finale when it aired last summer that they had slept together four times in a windmill during his Fantasy Suite date in Greece.
Peter therefore admitted he had a difficult time getting over his relationship with the Alabama native and former beauty queen.
"I was definitely blindsided," Peter said of the breakup.
"I was really invested in that relationship with Hannah and definitely saw it going further than it ended up going. But at the end of the day, she made her decision. She followed her heart and I had to come to peace with that."
Peter told the magazine "time does heal all wounds," and he leaned on his family to support him and help him move on.
"I'm someone who doesn't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with me. I want someone who wants me just as badly as I want them," Peter told People.

"Looking back, I'm thankful for how everything worked out," Peter shared.
"I definitely learned a lot about myself. And I definitely became stronger. I've always been a believer that everything happens for a reason."
Filming for The Bachelor's 24th season began in September and wrapped in November.
Peter will be introduced to 30 bachelorettes when The Bachelor premieres its new season with a special three-hour event on Monday, January 6 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
