Ryan Jenkins, the former Megan Wants a Millionaire bachelor who was charged with murdering his wife Jasmine Fiore before committing suicide in a secluded Canadian motel, was remembered by friend and family members during a private memorial service on Thursday.

"This is a celebration of 32 years of his life, not the last half dozen days," a woman who identified herself as security hired by Jenkins' family told The Sun. "There are a couple of people singing prayers and, gosh, they've got talent."
Media members were not allowed into the service, according to The Sun, which added some mourners yelled "creeps" and "scum" at reporters outside the church.
Jenkins was charged with murder on August 20 in the death of Fiore -- a 28-year-old swimsuit model whose body was found August 15 stuffed in a suitcase in a Buena Park, CA trash can.
Police alleged Jenkins removed Fiore's teeth and fingers prior to disposing of her body, presumably to hinder efforts to identify her, however authorities used the serial numbers on her breast implants to identify the body. A preliminary coroner's report showed Fiore was strangled.
Jenkins became the focus of an extensive manhunt on the U.S. and Canadian border after his car and an empty boat trailer belonging to him were found abandoned at a marina in Blaine, WA and a man matching his description was seen arriving in Point Roberts, WA on a boat registered to him on August 19.
Jenkins was allegedly checked into the Thunderbird Motel in Hope, British Columbia on the evening of August 20 by an unidentified woman, who paid $140 cash (Canadian) for a three-night stay before another motel guest saw her leave shortly thereafter.
A Canadian arrest warrant was issued for Jenkins on August 21 and he was found dead on August 23 after hanging himself in the motel.
While police know the identity of the woman who allegedly checked Jenkins in, they have declined to publicly reveal who she is since no charges are coming.
Thunderbird Motel manager Kevin Walker previously described the woman as blonde, in her early twenties and "naturally pretty, one of those wholesome little ladies," adding she and Jenkins pulled up in a Chrysler PT Cruiser with tinted windows and license plates from Jenkins' native Alberta.
Walker's description of the woman matches that of Jenkins' half-sister Alena, and a silver PT Cruiser with Alberta plates that matches the description of the vehicle seen dropping him off at the Thunderbird Motel was located in the parking garage of a condo where she resides.
In addition, Alberta vehicle records show a silver 2001 PT Cruiser is one of several vehicles registered to Jenkins' father Dan, who has maintained his son's innocence.
