Michael Kors has tied the knot.

The Project Runway judge wed his longtime partner Lance LePere in a small romantic ceremony at Dune Beach in Southampton, NY on Tuesday, E! News reported.

Southampton mayor Mark Epley officiated the ceremony, according to Kors' representative.

"To marry someone as wonderful and special to me as Lance, barefoot on a glorious beach, is more than I could have dreamed of," Kors told WWD.com.

The 51-year-old fashion designer and had recently confirmed his plans to marry LePere when same-sex marriage was legalized in New York after legislation signed by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in June went into effect on July 24.

The couple stopped by the City Clerk's Office in Manhattan and obtained their marriage license a couple weeks prior to their big day, according to People.

Kors and LePere have known each other for 21 years as they reportedly met back in 1990 when LePere was interning at Kors' company.
