Project Runway Junior will have 12 teenagers competing for a grand prize when the new reality competition series premieres Thursday, November 12 at 9PM ET/PT on Lifetime.

As previously announced, the judging panel will be comprised of former Fashion Police co-host Kelly Osbourne, Project Runway's fourth-season winner Christian Siriano and Aya Kanai, the executive fashion editor of Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazine.
The December 10 episode of Project Runway Junior will "feature a special video appearance by First Lady Michelle Obama to announce a challenge with Lands' End that will support Let Girls Learn, a new whole-of-government Presidential Initiative, which includes a collaboration with the Peace Corps that helps adolescent girls around the world go to school and stay in school," according to the network.
The Project Runway Junior designers will attempt to create and execute a design worthy of being sold on LandsEnd.com.
For the final challenge of the season, actress Bella Thorne will join the judges in determining Project Runway Junior's winner, who will receive a full scholarship to the prestigious FIDM in California, a complete home sewing and crafting studio, a feature in Seventeen magazine, and a $25,000 cash prize.
Lifetime announced it had ordered Project Runway Junior back in June. Host of Project Runway and America's Got Talent judge, Heidi Klum, allegedly got the ball rolling on a Junior competition when she had expressed interest in a series for the younger generation, inspired by her own children.
Project Runway Junior is being produced by The Weinstein Company, Sara Rea Productions and Full Picture. Gunn, Bob Weinstein, Harvey Weinstein, Patrick Reardon, Barbara Schneeweiss, Sara Rea, Jane Cha, Desiree Gruber, Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and David Hillman are serving as executive producers.
