Just because Cybill Shepherd is an avid ballroom enthusiast doesn't mean she'll be going Dancing with the Stars anytime soon.

While the 58-year-old actress recently told Extra she'd been offered a chance to compete on Dancing with the Stars in the past and would "love" to appear on the ABC show, her publicist has since stated it's not going to happen.
"She's not going to do it," publicist Heidi Schaeffer told The New York Post in a Friday report. "This isn't the first time they've asked her. She's been approached a few times."
Shepherd apparently currently has a lot on her professional plate -- from starring in Showtime's The L Word and filming an independent film in Pennsylvania to guest appearances on USA Network's Psych and ABC's Samantha Who?.
"I love ballroom dancing -- I've been offered Dancing with the Stars -- I'd love to do it," Shepherd had told Extra in a Wednesday report. "I'm sure I could do it, it's just really a really hard training period and I just haven't had time to devote to that."

Schaeffer reiterated Shepherd's busy schedule as the main reason why she won't be going Dancing.
"She does love to dance, but I think the rigor of all of that involves a lot and she's been working steadily and enjoying being available," Schaeffer told The Post.
Dancing with the Stars' seventh season will air this fall as part of ABC's primetime programming lineup.
