Ralph Macchio's Dancing with the Stars run is off to a great start.

Macchio and Smirnoff topped the leaderboard after they received 24 out of 30 possible points for their foxtrot routine from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
Actress and former Kirstie Alley's Big Life star Kirstie Alley finished one point back in second place with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy after they earned 23 points for their cha cha performance.
Daytime talk show host Wendy Williams and partner Tony Dovolani and Loveline radio show host Mike Catherwood and partner Lacey Schwimmer finished at the bottom of the leaderboard after they performed routines which weren't nearly as well received by judges.
Catherwood and Schwimmer performed a foxtrot routine which received only received 13 points, landing them in last place on the judges' leaderboard.
Williams and Dovolani finished one point ahead of Catherwood and Schwimmer in tenth place after they danced a cha cha which received only 14 points from the judges.
Disney Channel star Chelsea Kane and partner Mark Ballas and NFL football star Hines Ward and partner Kym Johnson finished tied for third place on the judges' leaderboard with 21 points each. Kane and Ballas performed a foxtrot while Ward and Johnson danced a cha cha routine.
Fifth place also finished as a tie between WWE wrestler Chris Jericho and partner Cheryl Burke and rapper Romeo and partner Chelsie Hightower. Both couples performed cha cha routines which received 19 points from the judges.
In addition, seventh place also represented a tie between supermodel and former A Model Life star Petra Nemcova and partner Dmitry Chaplin as well as Kendra and former The Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson and partner Louis van Amstel.
Nemcova and Chaplin danced a foxtrot which received 18 points from the judges while Wilkinson and van Amstel performed a cha cha which also earned 18 points.
Retired boxer and former The Contender host Sugar Ray Leonard and partner Anna Trebunskaya finished in ninth place on the judges' leaderboard after they performed a foxtrot that received 18 points.
All 11 twelfth-season Dancing with the Stars couples will return for another two-hour performance show on March 28, after which the judges' scoring and home viewer voting results from both shows will be combined and one couple will be eliminated on the season's first results show on March 29.
