Ramona Singer has formally announced her split from Mario Singer, her husband of over two decades years.
"I have decided to move on with my life without Mario. I tried my best to make my marriage work," The Real Housewives of New York City star tweeted Thursday. "I am excited for the new chapter in my life."

In the last couple of weeks, Mario, 60, has seemingly spent quite a bit of time with his mistress, 32-year-old Kasey Dexter, walking and kissing in public as well as having brunch together in New York City.
"I am doing what is right for me and my daughter Avery, who is the most important person in the world to me," Ramona, 57, told Us Weekly of the pending divorce. "But I am feeling great!"
The Real Housewives of New York City just wrapped up its sixth season on Bravo. Two days ago, the network aired the second part of the show's reunion special, during which Ramona dodged questions about her marriage being on the rocks.
"Everyone in my family is great," she told Andy Cohen cooly, according to Us. "We're together now, but I have a daughter Avery, who I love dearly, who is 19, and because of that, that's all I have to say on the matter... I don't want to take this discussion any further."
Ramona first separated from her husband in January after reports surfaced he had cheated on her with Dexter in their shared Southampton home and physically assaulted her during an altercation.
Although she denied the allegations, The New York Post reported later that month Ramona had filed for divorce. However, the reality TV star and Mario were spotted together again only a few short weeks later, appearing to be back together.
Ramona has starred on The Real Housewives of New York City since the series premiered in 2008.
