Olympic figure skaters Adam Rippon and Mirai Nagasu topped the judges' leaderboard and tied for first place on Monday night's show, so does Rashad think these two have what it takes to make it all the way to the end of Season 26?
"Everybody can dance [this season]. Obviously Adam and Mirai are outstanding," Rashad said during a Tuesday appearance on Good Morning America.

"But I think it's somewhere between -- it's going to be a surprise, I think -- between [Olympic luger Chris Mazdzer], [NFL cornerback Josh Norman] or [Olympic softball pitcher Jennie Finch]."

Chris is paired with pro partner Witney Carson, Josh is working with Sharna Burgess, and Jennie's pro partner is Keo Motsepe.
"One of them is going to slip in there to the Final 2 or the Final 3," Rashad noted.
The first-time author, who wrote The If in Life, said he thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the judging panel last night.
After all, it was probably a lot easier for Rashad to give feedback as a guest judge than it was to receive criticism as a Season 24 competitor looking to win the mirrorball trophy.
"To be on the other side was so much fun. I was nervous, because being in the ballroom, I'm used to the competition and having to compete with everybody," Rashad explained on GMA.

"Now, I get to see it from another view. It actually was fun because I went back to my season as I'm watching all the contestants putting all this energy into a dance and a routine and I've been there before. Now I can actually critique and give positive reinforcement to where they're at."
The Dancing with the Stars: Athletes broadcast on Monday night concluded with the elimination of basketball heroes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Arike Ogunbowale as well as their professional partners Lindsay Arnold and Gleb Savchenko, respectively.
