"Big Brother 4" (P) (6.0/11, 9.69m) was first in the time period in households, viewers, adults 18-34 (3.7/13), adults 18-49 (3.8/13) and adults 25-54 (4.2/13). Compared to the "Big Brother 3" premiere last summer (Wednesday, 7/10/02 from 9:00-10:00 PM), BB4's premiere added +470,000 viewers (from an average of 9.22 million).

"Big Brother 4" attracted +2.46m viewers more than "Dog Eat Dog" (9.69m vs. 7.23m), and had a +25% advantage over the NBC show in households (6.0/11 vs. 4.8/09), +42% in adults 18-34 (3.7/13 vs. 2.6/10), +19% in adults 18-49 (3.8/13 vs. 3.2/11) and +20% in adults 25-54 (4.2/13 vs. 3.5/11). "Big Brother 4" had +2.52m viewers more than "American Juniors" (9.69m vs. 7.17m), and enjoyed a +30% advantage over the FOX show in households (6.0/11 vs. 4.6/08), +42% in adults 18-34 (3.7/13 vs. 2.6/09), +46% in adults 18-49 (3.8/13 vs. 2.6/09) and +62% in adults 25-54 (4.2/13 vs. 2.6/08).

The "Big Brother 4" Tuesday premiere was the first of its three weekly broadcasts. It will also seen on Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT), beginning tonight, July 9, and Fridays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), effective July 11. Each Wednesday edition will feature the live eviction of one of the HouseGuests.
