Raven and Adam made a long-distance relationship work for quite some time, but they have recently discussed wanting to move in together and settle down.
"I'm keeping you forever and for always. We will be together all of our days. Wanna wake up every morning to your sweet face...Always," Raven captioned an Instagram photo of the engagement.
In August 2020, Raven revealed that the coronavirus pandemic had forced the couple to push their wedding back multiple times and they were considering eloping instead.
"I've replanned the wedding three times now," Raven told Us Weekly. "So I just totally stopped. I'm like, 'I'm not doing this anymore.'"
"We have options to elope, we have options to get married and cut down our guest list by, like, 150 people -- I'm not doing that," Raven said, adding, "I'm not uninviting people."
"So I told Adam by December of this year, if there is no end in sight, we're just going to elope and get married by ourselves, in our house. And if there is a light at the end of the tunnel by December, then we'll schedule this wedding for the fourth time."
Raven revealed she was going to let nature run its course and not try to plan her future around these nuptials.
"You know what? If we accidentally get pregnant along the way [to the wedding], that's totally fine," Raven shared.
"I have baby fever, but Adam has extreme baby fever. He is read-y. He is ready."
The Friday ceremony took place at a 40-acre estate called The Olana in Dallas, TX.
In order to take proper precaution amid the spread of COVID-19, Raven and Adam asked guests to take COVID tests prior to the wedding and have their temperatures taken.
The couple, however, reportedly only had 20 family members in attendance and many of them were already vaccinated.
"We wanted to make sure it was safe for everyone," Adam told People. "Everything changed from our original plan. But life can throw curve balls. You have to adapt!"
"OVER THE MOON EXCITED TO SHARE THE NEWS! Our Honeymoon baby will be here in January! I've loved you before you were in my womb!" Raven announced in an Instagram post.
Prior to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise, Raven finished as the runner-up on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor, and Adam competed for Rachel Lindsay's heart on Season 13 of The Bachelorette.
Raven gave birth to the couple's first child, a baby boy they named Gates Zev Gottschalk, in January 2022.
