A film crew was spotted arriving at Zarin's fabric firm on Monday and all the housewives are expected to travel to the Hamptons to film together on Thursday, according to The Post.
Bravo renewed The Real Housewives of New York City for a third season in July but began casting for additional housewives because all the women -- except Bensimon, who had joined the show for its second season -- were all still unsigned for the third season. According to a New York Daily News report, the five women were holding out for "six-figure" deals.
Zarin subsequently confirmed that a salary dispute centered on the show's stars being compensated equally was the reason why the five original cast members were still unsigned for the upcoming third season.
Although The Real Housewives of New York City's third season has begun production with all six women, The Post reported that producers still have lingering doubts about the cast and have tapped "two new women waiting in the wings" in case something goes awry.
"If the story lines are not interesting enough, there are two housewives who could still be replaced," a source told The Post.
