Reality TV show writers filed suit in Los Angeles Wednesday charging Fox and Rocket Science Productions violated California labor laws.

The suit claims the reality show employees were regularly shortchanged on their paychecks, forced to work overtime without pay, were not given days off and were not allowed to take lunch and dinner breaks spelled out in state law.
A similar suit was filed last month against ABC, NBC, CBS, The WB and TBS on behalf of 12 writers working on such reality shows as "The Bachelor,""The Bachelorette,""Are You Hot?" and "The Real Gilligan's Island."
