Clay Aiken has reportedly been dropped by RCA Records, the label he signed with after finishing as American Idol's second-season runner-up in 2003.

According to a Billboard source, although RCA's website was only recently updated recently, the label actually quietly dropped Aiken a couple of months ago.
An RCA representative was not immediately available for comment, Billboard added.
Assuming RCA has indeed parted ways with Aiken, his departure would mean that seventh-season Idol runner-up David Archuleta is now the only Idol runner-up that is still with the label they signed with after competing on the Fox reality competition.
Archuleta signed a recording contract with 19 Recordings/Jive Records last June.
