Bravo announced Top Chef's seventh-season renewal last fall and conducted casting calls during October and November but has yet to reveal where the new edition will film. A spokesperson declined to comment on the Post report.
Top Chef's sixth previous editions have taken place Las Vegas (Season 6), New York (Season 5), Chicago (Season 4), Miami (Season 3), Los Angeles (Season 2), and San Francisco (Season 1).
In addition to Top Chef's seventh season, Bravo also ordered Top Chef: Just Desserts, a new pastry-focused spinoff, and a second edition of Top Chef Masters, a spinoff that pits critically-acclaimed chefs against each other in a tournament-style competition, last fall.
Top Chef Masters' second edition is scheduled to premiere Wednesday, April 7.
