Despite having a prosthetic leg, Heather Mills has reportedly signed on for the upcoming fourth season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, according to a report on Access Hollywood's website.

A representative of Mills told the syndicated entertainment news program, "I have no word on that.  I have no statement at this time."  The 38-year-old will reportedly donate earnings from appearing on the reality competition series to an animal welfare charity, according to Access Hollywood

Mills is currently involved in a divorce with her estranged husband Paul McCartney, as the two announced their seperation in May 2006 -- less than four years after the former model and former Beatle were wed. (At least we know their divorce won't have anything to do with her reported appearance on Dancing with the Stars, unlike a former contestant who quit during the series' third season.)

In August 1993, Mills was hit by a police motorcycle while crossing a London street -- crushing her ribs and giving her a punctured lung. She also needed a metal plate in her pelvis and had her left leg amputated below the knee.  However Mills does have a prosthetic leg, which she will need the full use of if she has any hopes of capturing the Dancing with the Stars title.

While ABC also had no comment on Mills appearance on Dancing with the Stars, according to Access Hollywood, the entire cast for the series' fourth season is scheduled to be revealed on Wednesday, February 21 on Good Morning America.  The announcement will be made by former Dancing with the Stars contestant Jerry Springer.  Other names rumored to be joining the cast include Billy Ray Cyrus, Ian Ziering, Laila Ali, Joey Fatone and Danica McKellar.

Dancing with the Stars is scheduled to return to ABC in March.
