Julianne Hough apparently won't "pull a Maks" and skip Dancing with the Stars upcoming installment after all.

Despite initially being unsure about participating due to her fledging country music career, the two-time mirror ball trophy winner will compete as one of Dancing with the Stars' seventh-season professionals, The Salt Lake City Tribune reported Friday.

"Julianne will come back on the show, and she's going to be able to sing on the show," Kim DelGrosso, creative director of Orem's Center Stage dance studio in Utah, told The Tribune.  Several Dancing with the Stars' professionals are members of the dance studio, according to the paper.

ABC won't formally reveal Dancing with the Stars' seventh-season cast until Good Morning America's August 25 broadcast, however Hough's participation was also reportedly subsequently confirmed by her father Bruce, and sources also told The Tribune that Hough is still under contract for the show.

Hough revealed she had signed with Universal Music Group Nashville immediately following her Dancing with the Stars fifth-season victory with celebrity partner Helio Castroneves last fall.

However despite the obvious promotional value that the top-rated reality show provides, back in March, Hough had said that due to the May release of her her self-titled debut album, she was "not sure" she'd be able to participate in Dancing with the Stars' upcoming edition this fall.

"I'm not sure, I might pull a Maks and skip-out a season," Hough had commented, referring to her fellow Dancing with the Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy -- who did not participate in the show's sixth season this past spring but said he'll be back for the seventh installment.

Her self-titled debut subsequently dropped at No. 3 on Billboard's The Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the Top Country album sales charts after moving 67,000 copies in its first week of release -- representing the highest country debut for any new artist since 2006.

It currently sits at No. 24 on the Top Country album sales chart.

Dancing with the Stars' seven season will premiere with a special two-hour performance episode on Monday, September 22 at 8PM ET/PT.
