Paula Abdul is reportedly ready to return to reality television in a new multi-faceted role.

Got to Dance will start with the amateur dancers of any age, group-size and style as they audition for a judging panel led by Abdul -- which will ultimately determine who moves on to the semifinals and finals, which will air live and allow home viewers to vote for the winner.
CBS ordered Got to Dance in March and it is based on a U.K. reality series with the same name that premiered earlier this year on Sky 1. It was created by Princess Productions and Shine TV and will be produced by Reveille.
At the time, CBS reportedly "expressed some interest" in having Abdul serve on the show's judging panel.
Got to Dance will likely air as midseason programming, according to The Reporter, which added that could potentially pit the series against American Idol's tenth season on Fox.
Abdul has been linked to numerous projects since she announced she was leaving American Idol last summer.
Potential jobs have reportedly included serving as host and judge on ABC's upcoming Star Search revival; competing as a Dancing with the Stars celebrity participant; working with High School Musical director Kenny Ortega on a new mass dance reality series for NBC; reuniting with Simon Cowell on his stateside launch of The X Factor in Fall 2011 on Fox; and hosting a talk show on Oprah Winfrey's new cable network.
